What doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
- Micah 6:8
The worship service at Kennedy First United Methodist Church is traditional. Our services are designed to appeal to both visitors, who seek to have a relationship with God and a caring church family, as well as to the long-time believer.
We strive to provide a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere at Kennedy First United Methodist Church.
We hope that you will feel the love and grace of God as we gather to worship and praise God together.
Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin and seek to live in peace with one another.
Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month and is open to all who seek God’s grace.
Baptism is a sacrament. In a sacrament, God uses common elements - in this case, water - as means or vehicles of divine grace. Baptism is administered by the church as the Body of Christ. It is the act of God through the grace of Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Our church offers the sacrament of baptism to infants and adult
in
the adult Sunday School class room. We welcome all
to join in this time of fellowship.
Worship service 11:15AM.
