The Kennedy First United Methodist Mission Team is involved in answering the needs of persons in the local community and the global community.


Our current community mission outreach projects are:



The Food Pantry and Clothing Closet are normally open the Third Tuesday of the month 6-8PM and the last Saturday of the month from 10-Noon.
Use limited to one time monthly. Additional use during a month requires office approval.
Additional hours by appointment only. Call the church and leave a message, someone will call you back to set up an appointment.


Please Note: We are taking procedures to ensure the safety of all who use and operate our food pantry during the current virus state of emergency. Please cooperate with the process. Also, depending on the number of persons making use of the food cupboard, there may be additional limits of items per person.

CLOTHES CLOSET for Falconer School District residents:

Open 3rd Tuesday 6:00-8:00 and last Saturday 10:00-12:00 or by appointment. Call church office late Tuesday mornings to make appointment.

Breast Cancer Pillows:

Comfort pillows are available for women undergoing breast cancer surgery. Please contact the church office for additional information.

Labels for Education:Collected for Temple Elementary School

Saving Can Tabs:

The congregation saves tabs from sof drink cans, etc, and they are periodically delivered to the Dialysis Unit at WCA Hospital in Jamestown to be used for equipment purchases.


Bread Sunday:

On the first Sunday of every month, October - June, members of the Missions Team and others offer home made baked goods for people to take and give a monetary donation in return. The donations collected go to support St. Susan's Center,Royal Family Kid's Camp, The Salvation Army and District UMW.
